West Virginia University thanks those serving in the United States military for their service to our country and we hope to provide a level of service and atmosphere that conveys our appreciation.

Over 500 veterans, military personnel and/or their dependents are currently furthering their education at WVU. We offer a wide range of majors and support programs that help lead to your success in this pursuit.

Reserve and National Guard Tuition Assistance:

WV National Guard

Requests need to be submitted at least 30 days prior to the start of each semester.
Grades need to be submitted after the completion of each semester.

Army Reserves

Requests need to be submitted 2 to 3 weeks before the start of each semester
Paper forms also need to be submitted (read instructions carefully)
Grades need to be submitted after the completion of each semester

How To Get Military Transcripts:

You may be able to receive college credit for your military training. Use the appropriate link below to request that your transcript be forwarded to WVU Office of Admissions, P.O. Box 6009, Morgantown, WV 26506

U.S. Navy

U.S. Army

U.S. Air Force

You can also have your DD214 reviewed for college credit by taking the member-4 copy to Army ROTC, 2nd Floor Stansbury Hall. (This is a requirement for those receiving the MGIB)
