Hometown: Morgantown, WV Favorite thing about WVU: Mountaineer Football! I have been going to the games for as long as I can remember, and the feeling I get when the team runs out of the tunnel is hard to put into words. I love the game and the atmosphere, and the best sound in the world is when 60,000 people cheer, Let’s Gooooooo! Mountaineeeeers! From childhood, to my years as a student, and now as a proud alumna, there’s still nothing quite like the feeling of being a Mountaineer. Favorite thing about this job: Serving students who have been historically underserved is something I am very passionate about. To do so for my alma mater is an honor, as WVU and the Morgantown community are very special to me. I want students from all walks of life to know how unique and wonderful our campus and our community are, and how they can make this special place even better. Advice for students when selecting a college: Often when I ask students why they chose WVU, they say “it just felt right”. If you can, go on a campus tour and make sure it feels right for you. And don’t be afraid to ask the questions that are going to empower you to make the best decision. Finally, it’s OK if you don’t yet know exactly what you want to do with the rest of your life! When not working, I’m most likely: In dance class, exercising at the Rec Center, hanging out with friends, watching football, or enjoying my beautiful family. I also love to listen to music, read and travel. |
